My name is Robert Spendlove.
I love my community. That’s why I ran for the Legislature in 2014. Even before that, I had been serving the great State of Utah - in various roles - for more than a decade.
But I’m not done fighting for you! It is important to me to represent and protect the needs of our district.

Dedication to Fighting for our State
I proudly serve in the Utah House of Representatives, where I was elected in 2014. I represent District 49 in the Legislature, covering parts of Sandy and Cottonwood Heights cities.
Before being elected, I served as the Governor’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Federal Relations, Chief Economist and State Demographer.
Prepared to Tackle the Challenges Facing Utah
For the last several years I’ve had the opportunity to work as the Senior Economist in the role of Vice President at Zions Bank. I have a Bachelors degree in Economics and Political Science and a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Utah.
My educational background and professional career have given me the experience needed to tackle both the current and future challenges we face in our state.
